Rules/Stats

The basics of Field Lacrosse consist of 10 players on the field with 3 attack, 3 midfielders, 3 defensemen (longpoles), and a goalie for each team.

Rules vary from youth, to high school to college and to pro, but the basics remain the same as far as penalties.

Teams take statistics to better their own game and look at these stats to see what needs to be worked on. By following the rules and strategizing according to their strengths and weaknesses, teams are able to use these stats to better their chances of winning each possession and game.
